Streaming your database - Easier said then done?

Do you need to stream your database? So, did I! What should you expect?I implemented a Change Data Capture (CDC) systems in our architecture. But after I finished writing the code and deploying, I realized things are not just as I expected and I was forced to deal with scales, formats, integrations, deployment and more even though I used an off the shelf product.

This journey took 18 months in a big cyber company, but when we were done the system was up-and-running, built to scale and to handle failures.

In this talk I will share my experience and tips from building a system, to help developers and architects to prepare for the journey, surprises and challenges along the way.
